The Further Adventures of Claire
I awoke this morning and found the entire city transformed by a glistening blanket of snow. We have had several warm(er) days, which made Kaunas all wet and grey with run-off. So, the snow is a welcome sight. I would have run out into it and made snow angels, but my feet and calves are so sore, I merely watched from the window. The ballet classes I take every morning with the Kaunas Musical Theater Company are in a Russian style, with a LOT of jumping. It is good for me, but I wish that we had a little bit more of a warm-up to prepare for it. 20mins is just not enough. :)
The company has been nice, although there are only one or two who have been brave enough to try thier english on me. The class is taught entirely in Lithuanian, but I haven't had too much trouble following along.
Language is even less of a problem in the classes I teach for Aura, since almost everyone there speaks good english. It is a very international company. If you want to see some pictures from Aura, click on the following link: www.dancefestival.lt/main.php/id/1/lang/2
