7am pick up and a 10hour bus journey from Airlie Beach to Kroombit cattle Station, an overnight stop to break up the journey. We spent the first 2days on Rainbow Beach doing pretty much nothing in preparation for our trip to Fraser Island!On Monday morning we woke early for our briefing on the jeeps and packing everything on to the roof.
