Today was the first of what I expect will be many early starts. We had breakfast early and got in the van to explore San Francisco. We got to see City Hall up close which was brilliant and after that the van took us to the 6 sisters, which is normally a massive attraction surrounded by tourists. Today however there was a fun run, which was just a huge number of people, ridiculously dressed up and walking around an 8 mile loop. The atmosphere was amazing, music playing people cheering, it was much better than a few houses. We then moved on, and made our way over the Golden Gate Bridge. It's the third time I've been over the bridge so I just decided to chill out in the van and try recover from my lack of sleep, rather than walking the bridge.
After my nap we then got dropped off in Fisherman's Wharf for lunch and were told to meet back at the hostel. Me and Andy shot off for a cheap lunch and enjoyed the hour long walk through the steep hills of the city and back through union square to our hostel.
We then drove and drove and drove all the way to Yosemite national park. It was a long drive and we didn't get to camp until after dark. So we set up tents and got food going but didn't each until 10! After food I help make the fire but didn't have the energy to sit an enjoy it so just went to bed, before I knew it I was dreaming!
