Hot and muggy with the storms approaching which hopefully will mainly be overnight. Pau is a beautiful city and I had a good walk round this morning. The old buildings are stunning and the views of the Pyrenees are awesome. I will be walking over them over the coming few days. The city itself is very hilly which I suppose shouldn't be surprising given its proximity to the Pyrenees. I took a lot of pics but will only put a few up here. Managed to negotiate a new pair of laces for my boots in a local shoe shop as one broke yesterday, so I thought I had better be prepared - rather than relying on gaffer tape!
