After an early morning we arrived at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History just as it opened.
Inside we got to learn in detail the nature of both the atomic bomb's development and the history of radiation therapies in medicine (even if it's been ridiculous in the past, as exemplified by the "Revigator").

My dad was particularly excited to meet two of his historic idols- Fat Man and Little Boy.

All in all, it was a good start to the day. Next up is the Biopark!
