Mike, Rebecca, and I ventured into the Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum today and were pleasantly surprised. Although a bit humid the RVs themselves were really neat to see. There were RVs from 1923 to present. We are going to try to convince my dad (Papa Powell) to find and restore a 1923 Ford RV. The most interesting to us was the Flxible RV that was used in the movie "RV" for the Gernicke Family!!

Might have been a failed geocaching experience but making our mark on this famous roadside attraction was a blast! ~Rebecca

Each of us added our own mark with the spray paint that was either passed onto us while we were walking up or was left on the ground from the less than ecologically conscious who dropped them before leaving. I doubt there will be much left overtime of our presence given the amazing number of young and old that stop to checkout and mark this longstanding roadside attraction! Well worth the stop for anyone traveling Route 66/40 on their way out of Amarillo, TX! -C...
