The Elkhorn Campground just 5 min out of Frankfort, KY was only a sleepover for us but it was a fun campground and I would love to come stay longer to hangout. An exciting day at the Kentucky State Capital! Possibly one of the most beautiful capitals we have yet to see on this trip as well as it is ranked the third most attractive capital in the U.S. This capital housed a fine collection of dolls modeling all of the First Ladies inauguration gowns. Lincoln's Boyhood Home This was a by-chance sighting while we were driving down the Kentucky highway, which by the way has great signage for its historical and site-worthy places.
