Hi, it’s Ryan again and today we went on an 4 kilometer hike to the lake Agnes Tea House. We played hide and seek till about halfway up and Danny’s ankle started to hurt. Mom and I walked faster so we pulled ahead. We stopped so Dad and Danny could catch up and it started raining. Next stop in Banff National Park had us exploring two lakes- Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Moraine Lake is not as easy to access by shuttles, so it is a little less crowded. It was by far more beautiful too! The hike (really just a walk) was around the perimeter of half the lake. Just enough to see the amazing blue water. Hi, It’s Ryan. Today we went on a glacier tour in Jasper National Park. We went on a 34% grade road in a snocoach with tires bigger than me! We were not prepared for the cold weather on the glacier. We drank cold,refreshing melted glacier water. I thought I could be a penguin and slide across the snow and ice, I failed miserably and scratched my hands.

Day two was spent on a tour of Lake Minnewanka and the a hike up Johnston Canyon to see some waterfalls. Lake Minnewanka was a shuttle bus away from the campground, but we were able to take a short cut through the woods to save some time. We were able to board the boat with a tour guide that told us of some of the history. Made our way to Banff- incredibly beautiful. Mountains on all sides of the best town center. Great shops, fun restaraunts...Ryan's favorite shirt was there: "It's all s***s and giggles. Until someone giggles and s***s." Ha ha So far we have taken a gondola up to Sulphur Mountain. The trip to the top had gave us great views of the Canadian Rockies...then we were able to walk to the observation deck. We were able to climb stairs and look out to the mountains ...
