We are making our way west. Long days of driving, but nice scenery to look at. Pretty easy driving for Fred. Through Ontario, we had lakes everywhere to look for moose- fred and I saw one right on the side of the road, Danny and Fred saw a dead one. Lots of hills and turns to get around the lakes- lots of people biking too, crazy hard. We were lucky enough to pull off the highway for lunch and find a nice waterfall to explore.
Once into Manitoba, the landscape changed- more flat farmland. Stayed at a sketchy campground in Winnipeg, but got out early in the morning to keep the drive going. Kids liked the pool-that's all that matters to them!
Yesterday drove through Saskatchewan- land was more like prairies- more cattle ranches around. Saw some of the biggest farming equipment on the road. Looked like the jaws of death on a semi. Also saw wings of an airplane being transported. We just left a really nice campground in Medicine Hat, Alberta and will get to Banff National Park in about four hours. Then the real fun starts!!
