We all got up pretty late this morning, Ahmed and Raheela both have the day off as it's a bank holiday Monday in honour of the queen's birthday. If you ask me this is highly unfair and should be implemented in the UK as soon as possible. We all sat about chatting again before deciding we really should be doing something more constructive. Ahmed and Raheela nipped to the shop to get some sandwiches as we're all starving. We ate the sandwiches and by this point it had started to rain. We had planned on going for a walk but we decided to now go for a drive instead. Ahmed drove all four of us round and showed us some of the sights of the city. We saw Ahmed's building where he works, it was right in the middle of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. He gets that view every day! There has been something going on in the city called Vivid which is a 10 day light show where all the huge buildings in the city are lit up with light shows. Well tonight is Vivid's last night so we went out to look at it. It was spectacular, all the buildings with amazing light shows and music playing. My favourite bit had to be seeing the Opera House all lit up in different colours and patterns. We had a few drinks around the city and headed back to the flat.
