We had a slow start this morning doing a few jobs before going out for the day. We needed to check in online for our campervan hire in New Zealand. After all of this was done we got our things together and headed off to the bus station. Today we plan to have a walk around some places we haven't been yet, go to the aquarium, meet Ahmed after work (Raheela if she can make it) go to the IMAX cinema (the largest one in the world) and then Ahmed is going to take us to his favourite restaurant called Hurricanes. We got into the city and walked a little we made it to the aquarium quite quickly. Ahmed has a great discount book which got us buy one get one free into the aquarium which was great. The aquarium was fantastic, they had all sorts of fish. They had giant crabs and the worlds largest collection of sharks. There were two parts to the aquarium where you walked through the tunnels with fish, sharks and manatees swimming over the top of you. Absolutely worth the money to go, loved it. We walked out of the aquarium and realised we had a couple of hours to kill before meeting Ahmed. There was a bar on Darling Harbour with a deal on corona so we got one each and sat harbour side while the sun started setting. When we'd finished our drinks we went for a walk around some of the older buildings and the parks. We made our way back to just outside the IMAX for around 5.30pm. Ahmed and Raheela had said they might be late but they were both going to make it. We said we'd got the tickets, the only thing there was to watch at this time was Fast and Furious 6. It wasn't something any of us wanted to watch in particular but it should look pretty good on big screen. Ahmed and Raheela made it with five minutes to spare before the film. The film was ok, very cheesy and I think I've only previously watched Fast and Furious so numbers 2-5 were not actually needed in order to watch number 6. Afterwards we walked over to Hurricanes for some tea. They do ribs as their main items, they were absolutely enormous and were even given bibs to stop us spilling. The food was delicious, we paid as a thank you to Ahmed and Raheela for having us, they have been more than generous during our stay. All full we went back to their car and back to the flat. We said our goodbyes now as they both have work tomorrow and we will have to leave for our flight before they get home.
