We had an extremely early morning, we were woken at 5.00am to the sound of the fire alarm. We all had to troop outside in our pjs and gather on the grass freezing. We were let back in before too long to sit in the dining room while the firemen were outside. No one has a clue whether this is real, a practice or a accident. We were told we could go back to bed, it took a little while as we had extremely grumpy faces now but we eventually got to sleep. When we checked out this morning the girl apologised for the fire alarm, when we asked what set it off she said it was a false alarm, great! Ahmed had insisted on picking us up from our hostel today but we said in that case come later then you don't have to rush. The hostel had lockers for luggage so we put it all in one and had a walk and an explore around Bondi. The weather was beautiful and there were so many people on the beach. We sat on some grass which looked out over the sea and watched the surfers. We said we'd meet Ahmed at about 1.30pm at our hostel so we got ourselves back and got our luggage. He picked us up and we went back to their flat. David and Adi were getting their things sorted as they go to the airport later. They said they'd had a nightmare of a night as they couldn't find their passports. They'd realised they'd left them in one of their containers of all of their things, so this morning they'd been to the container had to climb up and rummage to get their passports. They did manage it though. We all went out to get a sandwich for lunch and sat at Maraubra beach which is the closest to Ahmed's. David and Adi had to leave and get their car packed, they are staying in a hotel near the airport tonight as their flight is early. Ahmed went to give them a hand. James, Raheela and I had a walk from Maraubra beach to Coogee beach the walk was lovely. A couple of hours later Ahmed came to pick us up. We decided to stay in tonight, get a take away and chat.
