We got up around 9.30am this morning and ate some nuts to keep us going, James bought coffee from downstairs for us. We spent most of the morning sorting a few things and then went down to the pool and had a few swims for a while. We then went to our room to get changed and spent just less than an hour in the gym. We then went back to the room and got showers, James went downstairs with the computer to use the free wifi in the bar while I finished getting showered then I met him in the bar. We nipped back to the room to put the computer back and then we set off walking to the strip. It seemed to take forever, we knew which hotels were at the corner of the road to walk down but because they are so big you can always see them and never seem to get close. We got there, we haven’t eaten a proper meal yet today so this was the first job. We found a place called ‘The Earl of Sandwich’ which did really good hot sandwiches. Feeling much more like it we had a walk down the strip walking past the Coca Cola shop where literally everything was Coca Cola merchandise. There was also an M&M’s world, this is a place we will have to come back to as I have a request from Verity! The hotels and casinos were amazing, we walked past the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty tonight on the same road. We walked through and around some huge casinos. To get across the roads there are escalators to take you up and down to a bridge. We got our way up and over the other side of the road and managed to see the water fountain display at the Bellagio hotel. The lake outside is enormous and the water from the fountains goes to amazing heights. We walked back to our hotel stopping at a garage on the way back for cold drinks. I put TV on when we got back in for a little while. We watched an episode of Friends, it seems strange to watch it seeing as we don’t have it in the UK anymore and Loas was the last place we saw it.
