We thought we'd have a slow day today seen as we were suffering with sunburn so we went for breakfast and did a bit of looking around in the shops because I wanted a new vest top. On the way back to the hotel we stopped off at a travel agent so we could book a train from Varkala to Kanyakumuri which is our next stop. While we were there we saw a poster for a temple festival which is happening tomorrow, apparently there will be 50 elephants there. So we booked two tickets. On getting back we did a little more planning for the afternoon and went out for tea tonight.
