We thought we'd spend the morning at the beach again today so we packed everything ready and went to the beach straight after getting done breakfast. We had to find some new sunglasses for me first though as unfortunately mine had broken. We bought sunglasses and a sheet we had been thinking of buying for some time as a reminder for when we're back at home. Instead of posting things home this time, we are hoping to sweet talk Glenn and Claire when we meet them to see if they will take a few bits home for us.
The beach was beautiful again, the sea wasn't as rough as it was the other afternoon that we went. It seems to be a lot calmer in a morning. It was so nice and relaxing at the beach that we decided to stay a lot longer than expected, we stayed until around 4.30pm then thought we'd best get going because we had to get into the town to get to the cash machine and to but a few bits we needed. We got a tuk tuk back to the hotel, it was a decorated one which had numerous flowers in the windscreen, a small Christmas tree, some Christmas bells, plastic grapes hanging and loads of other stuff, I haven't got a clue how he saw the road well enough to drive! After we made it back to the hotel got showers and realised how caught by the sun we'd both got! We had had a few afternoon snacks so decided to skip tea and soothe our sunburn with after sun!
