We had arranged yesterday to take a boat trip this morning. This way we can get the most out of the moving day, so we were up and out by 8.30am to get to the office to pick us up. We set out to the beach, but wanted to go for some lunch at the place we have cake yesterday. We walked up the Main Street where there was lots of beeping of horns and the traffic at a standstill. As we walked past some local people they said there was a star from Hollywood here in Goa. We made use of the scooter again today, there was a place that did homemade cakes etc. So we went there mid afternoon and treated ourselves. We had read there was a beach a little further south of Candolim called Coco beach so thought we'd go for a look. On the way there we drove alongside a stretch of water and there was a large area to stop with steps downwards. For the next couple of days we have hired a scooter again to get out and about and see some more sights. We rode up to Fort Aguada, from there we stood looking out into the sea and saw some dolphins! Very cool! We walked around there for a little while then went on the look out for a bar called Bobs bar. Apparently there is a story that Lord Lucan lived here for sometime and had this bar as his 'local' and there is supposed to be a photograph of him on the wall....

We had a day off from the beach today and decided to get ahead with some reading on Thailand etc. Also we thought we would have a look into other things we might want to go whilst here in India. There is a boat trip to see dolphins which goes from Candolim and we want to go to Old Goa and a spice plantation.
