Well it had to happen. We are in the tropics. Our second rainy day since we left Ballarat over a month ago. Never mind time to take stock, read a book, have a massage (and blog)
The five days we have had here so far have yielded perfect weather however with differing evening tempartures. The first night you could sit outside all night if you wanted in tee shirt and shorts. The next 2 nights were a lot cooler and the heavy doona went back on. Now its warmer again. We overheard an aboriginal lady in the supermarket telling her friend how cold it is here. She should try Ballarat !!
We have had a game of golf at the very picturesque Mossman course, met friends for lunch, gone out on a sportsfishing charter with 'Barra Bill', who had every tall barra story under the sun, but guess what, we caught no barra (a few other things however like the cod in the picture)
Off to Cape Tribulation and the reef (from there) tomorrow

John Kirwin I like the rain, it means we get to see what you're up to. That's a funny looking cod!
