Our final time in this area produced a magnificent day that allowed for a morning beach walk (after watching the sun rise) then a very lazy morning reading in the sun before heading into the hinterland to do a couple of bush walks to rivers, falls and natural spa pools. This is one of my most favorite days so far. Long lie in followed by a good walk into town for lunch yum yum Mike had the hugest burger me chicken ceasar. We walked the town then returned home to relax some more. We then took off to see the lookout where the photo comes from. Back to camp site for happy hour and now I'm ready for my mud crab and Mike has steak yum yum again. Thanks for the good day world I'm happy hope you all r too.

Yes a kilo of fresh local prawns for tea tonight from the local fisherman. Yum yum. We drove from Charters Towers through the coastal ranges and skirted Townsville all in cloudless skies. By the time we had got to Ingham it was looking pretty grey.
