Today saw the bad weather pass to bring another perfect day in FNQ. We left before sunrise and headed off in a northerly direction for the 45 minute drive to the Daintree River ferry crossing. Well it had to happen. We are in the tropics. Our second rainy day since we left Ballarat over a month ago. Never mind time to take stock, read a book, have a massage (and blog) The five days we have had here so far have yielded perfect weather however with differing evening tempartures. The first night you could sit outside all night if you wanted in tee shirt and shorts. The next 2 nights were a lot cooler and the heavy doona went back on. Now its warmer agai...

Oh no. Day 30 means we are a 1/3rd of the way through already The camp site here is very good, the weather perfect, plenty planned (golf, fishing, massage, reef trip from Cape Tribulation and more fishing) for the next week or so. Well we have made it to the most northerly stop of out trip. Drove throught some spectacular countryside from Atherton this morning stopping for several attractions.
