Long, long day of driving today once we eventually left our pitch in Jostedal which we had grown quite attached to. We filled up on diesel and food in Gaupne and then headed up the highest mountain pass in Northern Europe as we crossed to Lom with dramatic views at every hairpin turn as we climbed into the snow and said goodbye to the fjords. We had a quick look around Fjaerland this morning, a tiny village beside the Sognefjord, next to the Jostedalsbreen glacier, known as the book capital of Norway.
