So today Mum and Dad were back in charge and after Megan's imaginative day yesterday we went with....the Eiffel Tower! Ok, so not very imaginative (as demonstrated by the ridiculously long queue to even get into the queue for tickets) but pretty spectacular nonetheless. We walked up the 704 steps to the 2nd level, having stopped at the first level to catch our breath and find out a little about the history of the Eiffel Tower, and then got the lift to the top. It was a beautiful day in Paris and so we could see for miles and Daniel thought he could even see Bob parked over the other side of the Bois de Boulogne!

When we eventually made it back down it was mid-afternoon and way past lunchtime so we then headed for Montmartre for some lunch, some people-watching and to admire the amazing portrait artists at work. The general feeling was by this point "nah" to the crowds at the Louvre and so we wandered back in the last of the sun through the Bois de Boulogne to Bob.
