Woke up this morning to find Bob had chicken-pox (by this I mean the paintwork on the outside of the motorhome cab had hundreds of air bubbles in and looks a mess!). So while Tracy conducted school with the kids, the caretaker (me) made calls to our motorhome dealer about the air bubbles in the paintwork.
Morning break involved Daddy's running club which was a 2 mile run down the banks of the River Rhone overlooking the beautiful city of Avignon, another world heritage site!
In the afternoon we headed into Avignon and up to the Papel Palace which is a large, impressive gothic palace which has housed 9 popes through history.
Afternoon break involved the girls having coffee/ice cream in one cafe and the boys having coffee/crepes in a separate cafe 50 metres down the road!
We finished off the day at the legendary Pont D'Avignon bridge which is very impressive except half of it is missing. It was originally built in the 13th century but often damaged by the raging flood water of the Rhone river. This was a great end to the day as the sun set over the river and the palace.
