We spent most of the day driving, setting off from Paris this morning in thick fog, managing to find our way out past the Arc de Triomphe and slowly watching the thermometer rise as the fog eventually cleared and the sun shone.

We eventually decided to stop in Tournan-sur-Rhone late afternoon to at least get out and enjoy the last couple of hours of sunshine.

Fingers crossed for more sun tomorrow.
