I'm busy wiyth my first class of real students this week. As part of my internship I'm shadowing one of the more experienced instructors at UDC and seeing how he deals with all the logistics of running a course. It's turned out to be a great one to learn from, we've got 6 students, 3 of which are very nervous so it's taking a lot of time, patience and flexibility to get through all the performance objectives...... Tomorrow we take them out on the boat for the first time so that should be great fun but quite challanging.I've decided to stay her in Utila till the end of June so I can get lots of experience then i'll be on the lookout for a diving school in Bristol so I can keep teaching in evenings and weekends * althouh I have to admit that the thought of leaving the exciting worlld of IT for life on an island and an office int he ocean is pretty appealing right now(
