Finally arrived in Utila yesterday afternoon after a bit of an adventure. The journey from Antigua is about 16 hours so I split it up by stoping in Copan for a few nightsand visiting the ruins - stunning. The final leg of the journey was to be a 45 min ferry crossing from La Ceiba to Utila, the catch being that the ferry had broken down and in its place was a makeshift service being offered by any little blokie with a boat. I think mine waas best descibed as a bathtub with a blender attached. There were 8 of us in the boat and i took well over 2 hours for the crossing. Oh and the engine packed in completey twice. Add to that getting completely soaked and sunburnt and its one of my more memorable trips.

I picked up all my study material last night and am going to need to keep my nose in the books for a few days to get ready for thecourse. It'll all be worth it in the end... wont it?
