Nina and I have gone all Thelma and Louise, hired a car called Baldy and hit the road. It's a hard life and we have to keep stopping to recuiperat on any beaches we can find. Flying out to Thailand at the end of the week.

Having a great time in Perth so far. Spent today on a bus tour round the city and am just popping back to the hotel for a swim in the rooftop pool. It's a hard life. Thinking of heading up the coast later in the week to see this rock formation. It's supposed to be quite spectacular.

Just spent a great day being tourists. Wandering, shoppnig and sunning ourselves in Darling Harbour

I had a walk up to the Thermal valley on Saturday ( in the rain) and got up close to this geyser. My photos aren't quite this clear but they're still pretty cool. Just before I headed back to Auckland this afternnon I managed to fit in a bit more white water rafting. This one was a grade 5 and included a 7m drop over a waterfall. Apparently it's the highest commercially ratfted drop anywhere in the world. Not quite sure how i'm going to follow that one. ...

The last couple of days have been really stormy so I had to abandon my plans for snowboarding and sky diving and stick closer to the ground. Had a walk out to the Huka falls and the craters of the moon. Have been staying at an amazing hostel complete with suana so I spent a few hours just lazing there last night. Heading up to Rotarua this afternoon for a bit more steam and some geysers.
