Left behind the lovely tranquility of the highlands and headed back to the coast. Spent a couple of days lazing by pools and have just arrived in Lima. My first impressions of the capital arent great. Sprawling noisey and smelly. Only two nights here then back on the road.

Well I made it, 4 days of hiking throught the most beautiful scenery imaginable all to get here. Speachless

Arrived in Cusco late last night after a long detour. Protests and rioting meant that we couldnt go to Puno as planned and instead had to head all the way down to Ariquipe and then back up to get to Cusco. The city is really nice, lots of gorgeous architecture and fab bars and clubs. Got in about 3 this morning after trying out a few of them. Spending tomorrow in the Sacred Valley then startin on the Inca Trail on saturday morning. Its a 4 day hike so we shou...
