This morning we had a shorter drive to Zion National Park. We started out the visit with a short uphill hike to a view of the Zion Canyon. It was a fun rough trail, but we learned this is not what the rest of the park was like. After driving through two tunnels to get to the main section of the park there was nowhere to park. Today we left Moab to head to Bryce Canyon National Park. We drove through more desert through the San Rafael region.It was pretty but also pretty desolate. Near Bryce we checked in to Ruby's Inn, which is basically a compound near the park with everything you would need from a high end hotel to tent sites. This morning we left Grand Junction by 7:00am. Andrew drove while Bethany slept between navigating. We arrived in Moab, Utah and were into Arches National Park by 9am. Since it was only in the 90's we went for a few hikes before the temperature went up into the 100's.
