WE ARE BACK!

We had a more eventful day today than expected. After leaving Madison, WI we drove to New Glarus, WI home of the New Glarus Brewing Company, which makes a popular brew Spotted Cow. We were surprised by how many people had taken a trip to this small town to visit the brewery. They had an audio tour and a tasting. We tasted 4 brews and passed up the audio tour to walk around the gift shop while tasting. Afterwards, we explored the town which is known as Little Switzerland (fact: the town was settled by immigrants from Glarus, Switerland). We enjoyed some products from the Swiss bakery. Then we drove to Monroe, WI in search of another brewery which brews the Berghoff beer (famous German restaurant in Chicago) but we could not find it. Finally we were headed back to Chicago and we were welcomed by Friday afternoon traffic. It wasn't too bad since we finally had radio stations that we didn't have to change after each song.

Note: We wil add the final pictures and possibly some videos next week. Until then, we're getting in the car to drive to Detroit for Bethany's cousin's wedding tomorrow. So the long overdue car wash will have to wait unil Monday.
