After leaving the madness of Vegas we arrived in Death Valley a few hours later, where the temprature had reached about 100f and we finally reached sea level for the first time since being in America and setting off in Ray Ray. Technically we were 200ft below sea level but who is counting!

Death Valley was strangly beautiful and we were due to stay overnight, however, much of the valley is not accessible unless you have a four wheel drive and little Ray Ray was not quite up to it! So we spent the day seeing the main sites and then started the long journey to Yosemite National Park.
