Friday 18/Sat 19 May (Falmouth/St Mawes)Had a musical night out in town on Friday, and sampled several local ales: in approximate order - Betty Stogs, Sharps Special, Skinners Keel Over, Otter, Yorkshire Terrier, and (of course) Doom Bar. Slept well!
Saturday I took the ferry to St Mawes, a pretty village and harbour, and lunched on Scallops and Squid at The Victory Inn.  Lunch was extended by watching the FA Cup Final, but had to catch the last ferry back before full time.  Arrived at the King's Head in Falmouth (more Betty Stogs) to see the last throes of the game. (For those who care, Chelsea beat Man Utd with a goal in the last minutes of extra time). Slept well again: odd that! Tomorrow I must find a pub for a much more important game: the Heineken Cup Final (Wasps vs Leicester).
Best news of all, we have crew and weather for a departure for Cork on Tuesday next week: hoorah!
