Monday 7 May - Pandora Inn, Mylor  CreekÂ
Morning spent up to knees and elbows in effluent in attempt to clear blocked heads outlet. Failed! Will have to engage nautical plumber tomorrow if possible. Fortunately weather impossible for our departure for Ireland for next 48hrs at least. Denise and Terry and Ian Stamford came aboard for Evening Prayers, then drove us to the Pandora Inn on Retronguet Creek, near Mylor. This ancient inn was named after HMS Pandora, the ship which captured the Bounty mutineers. There is a pontoon which allows access by water, tides permitting. Excellent meal, including locally caught scallops and rare steak from the Beast of Bodmin Moor. Back to D&T?s home for nightcap and returned about midnight. Good day apart from the weather and the sh**.
