Quiet day in Rocky today. QLD north coast definitely putting its hand up for the insect capital of Australia overnight. Baz worked today, the kids caught up on some of their maths in the morning. Headed further south today and stopped for a couple of days at Rockhampton. Pretty quiet day for us, setup camp, a bit of a tour around town (very quiet on a Sunday), a little shopping, a nice swim in the heated pool before Pen's scrumptious microwave lasagne. After being attacked by insects overnight we woke to another dreary day, however before long the weather started to clear. After a short tour of the nearest town (Greenhill) that took all of 5mins Baz, Jack & Pops purchased some bait and drove down to the rivermouth on an incoming tide to go hunting for dinner. We left Airlie Beach today to head further south. Our first intended stop was Mackay to take Jack & Pops to a waterpark that they had their eye on. Another dreary day in Airlie Beach, not sure that we are going to experience the best of it. Managed a walk on the foreshore between showers and managed to get in a game of table tennis on the metal table. Penny showed good style, couldn't get Jack off the table, Pops was a bit erratic.
