After being attacked by insects overnight we woke to another dreary day, however before long the weather started to clear.
After a short tour of the nearest town (Greenhill) that took all of 5mins Baz, Jack & Pops purchased some bait and drove down to the rivermouth on an incoming tide to go hunting for dinner.
It took a while for the tide to turn and the river to start running however when it started Jack was on fire. With 2 rods on the go Baz's job was to de-hook the fish and re-bait the hooks while Jack pulled in 8 fish. Pen walked down the beach when the river was running hard and the bite's slowed.
After a drive on the beach (the Ranger may need a good clean) we then settled in for dinner, a good Melbourne Storm win and the end of an era for Nth Melbourne, specifically with last games for 'Boomer' Harvey & Drew Petrie. What a great innings by both these guys!
