Our last day in Yeppoon. Late morning we walked into town, tide was well in so unfortunately couldn't walk all the way on the beach. Morning tea was spent at the sailing club overlooking about 100 kids going through their paces out in the bay in their little dingy's. Today is another special edition (it's not that special anymore) by Jack! This morning while dad had to work Poppy, Mum and I went to the Cooberie wildlife sanctuary. Another quiet day in Yeppoon enforced by the weather. Forecast was for 1-5mm in the morning, ended up with non stop rain and 32mm. Lots of reading and ipads for the day. Quiet day in Yeppoon today after adventures wore us out on Great Keppel Island. Long moring walk on the beach. Kids then played on the beach for about 4 1/2 hours while Baz & Pen read. Pretty quiet day today. Took a lovely long walk along the beach this morning, with a great view of the Keppel Islands offshore. Afternoon spent on a little sightseeing, the lookout, Rosslyn Bay, Yeppoon foreshore (playground and waterpark).
