Today was more about the fossils in the area. We firstly drove about an hour to Richmond and visited Kronosauras Korner. Here we spent about an hour and a half looking at the amazing collection of fossils from the Cretaceous Inland Sea that covered inland Queensland 120 million years ago. Busy morning to miss our first sighting of rain for 7 weeks and leave the dusty car park of the pub prior to it turning to mud. Big head wind on the way, fuel economy well down. Copped a down pour on the way out of Winton and had steady rain for the afternoon in Hughenden. Quiet afternoon with a camp setup, bit of work, shopping and relaxing.
