The other reason for the delays in the entries is that this website loses 75% of the entries or makes mistakes and won't let you fic them so you have to start over. San Francisco and the Oakland Bay area were awesome if a bit smoky. Picked the Nova Scotia crew up at SFO on the BART and it was super convenient. With an NBA and NFL game the boys were happy and no shortage of places to eat and drink. Oakland showed a little urban decay but had some pretty cool architecture and public art. This was a quick trip down the Pacific Coast Highway that was abbreviated by the Woolsey fire and a deadline set by the Lakers game. The highlights were a neat hotel in Santa Cruz and a fantastic breakfast on a pier in Monterey thanks to Jen's Yelp searching skills. The PCH was everything they say it is and deserves another visit at another time. We made it in on time and the game was great.

OK I was really at Samuel P Taylor State Park but they made me mad by forcing me to switch campsites. Had to pull the bike uphill to get it off and push it uphill to load it up. I don't know how I stumbled on to Sacramento. I might have been that TV show Eight is Enough. I was sad to discover the house is actually in another city, can't remember which. Stayed out in Rancho Cordova and used the super efficient train to get downtown. Old Sacramento was fantastic. Most of the buildings were original. They were raised to avoid the flloding.
