Apologies to those who asked how they could keep track of my travels but don't want to have to read all of this stuff. Jen is getting me to use this app because we have used it before and you can get a nice book at the end. Don't feel you need to read it because I'm writing it to you 'cause it's really just for my bad memory and a memento for the coffee table.
Things are falling into place with a little help from friends Dave and Dave. Couldn't do it without the Daves. Trailer is ready to be modified and mattress is unpacked. Tent is airing out and countertop is set to install.
The tenth was the original departure date but illness and rain have slowed progress. Some weird arm paralysis didn't help either. Either way the train should leave the station before the end of the week. First full stop and setup should be around Dayton so that the U.S. Air Force museum can be fully explored. Apparently the new Museum of Funk is also in Dayton so that will require a visit as well.
