OK I was really at Samuel P Taylor State Park but they made me mad by forcing me to switch campsites. Had to pull the bike uphill to get it off and push it uphill to load it up. The little town of Lagunitas, which gives its name to my favourite craft brew here in California, didn't have a brewery but a cool little saloon.
OK, I wanna be clear that the Pacific Coast Highway, this section at least, and the Russian River Valley were designed to be a Disneyworld for people with motorcycles. After a while I became aware that I giggling in my helmet and you could see that other riders were too. Half the vehicles were bikes. There might have been two straight stretches in 20kms. I don't know how they did it but you would go right twice, left twice and then right four times. Tunnels I suppose. If the weather was better and I had unlimited time I don't think I would have turned down the Russian River Valley to go over to Petaluma. I got forced away from the Napa Valley but still got to see about forty little wineries. It's a place I would come back to to go riding but I think I would rent a bike this time.
