I read a lot of blogs from people who are also travelling around in southeast Asia. I like to read what they are doing that we haven't done and to see how they are coping with a completely different world. After having read a few of those it seemed like most travellers think that the train is the most beautiful thing ever, You can see a lot of the beautiful countryside! They serve dinner and if you want you can sleep because it moves steady. And I have to agree.
But since the train takes a longer time to get somewhere and that it is 2x more expensive we stick to: The Thai government bus.
2 things consume most of our time here... well actually 3.
1. Busses
2. Temples
3. Markets (how could I forget)
And boy did we been on busses. Busses with airco and without. Busses with a fan and without. Busses with mosquitos and without. Busses with a view. Busses that gave us food and drinks. Busses that were tiny and busses that were big. Busses, busses and more busses. 41 hours and counting.
I wanted to dedicate a short piece of Blog towards our beloved transport in Thailand. Upon we may never forget what moved us in so many ways.
As for visiting temples we have been running a real templethon. Like chickens without heads walking in and out taking pictures without even knowing the story behind them.
We can only draw one conclusion : We are travellers without a clue but having the time of our lives doing it.
All the way up in Thailand so we had to go down again. Took some time to figure out where to go next. We ended in sukhotai and stayed there for 3 nights. It had one of the most picturesque parks we had been to so far. The town was bursting out of it shelves with history(and wild dogs) and all in cycle distance. We rented two and have been cycling in the historic park. It were a couple of days of relaxation before going back to Bangkok to go to kanchanaburi.
Btw my backpack is broken. I only have one strap left and lizet is so burned it looks hilarious. I sadly did not take any pictures of it. I did of temples though.
