6th AugOn our final day of rafting we were treated to a delicious Israeli breakfast of tomatos, eggs, onion and spices. It was seriously amazing! During the morning we tackled some crazy hard rapids (3,4 and 4+) and after being told the stories of all the people who had died there we were glad to come out of them alive. I have a video of it so you can check out how crazy it got. We finished the day with a bbq prepared by our guide Jose before getting the 2hr bus back to Cusco. We had decided to change hostel as the one we were staying in was just a bit too crazy for us and with mike still being ill we needed somewhere with a bathroom close by. We ended up staying at the same place as some of the other rafters nina and peter and went out to the Danish restaurant with them in the evening. The café had a cinema attached and so we got to watch a film and grab a meatball curry to satisfy my cravings for spicy food and topped it all off with some popcorn and a chocolate milkshake to die for!We had arranged to meet up with everyone from rafting for a drink and to watch the video of us rafting and it was only then it really hit us just how crazy the rafting is!
