We arrived in La Paz and decided to go find a hostel with Hannah and Charlie (brother and sister who we met on the jeep tour) and endd up checking into adventure brew hostel which had warm showers (always a plus), clean beds and its own brewery!! What more could we want. We spent the day chilling around the city which was so funky...loads of street sellers, shoe shine boys (who looked like terrorists in balaclavas) and people selling dead lama foetus`. We suddenly felt completely immersed in south american culture and its was a pretty cool experience.

Sadly the day was pretty boring to report about as we really did just chill out, getting our washing done and eating loads of good food. We got back to our hostel to find that charlie had tonsilitis and so we went our to the hostel bar with Hannah to grab some food. The bar was pretty amazing with glass walls that showed the views over the city.

We ended up drinking this stuff called Gasolina pretty good stuff considering it came out of a huge vat and it was what the locals drank. The bar was having a graffiti party and so whilst getting way too drunk (well hannah and I did....Mike was lucky enough to realise the effect of the altituded before it was too late for him!) we wrote all over each others clothes. Sounds naff but was great fun! Hannah and I were given free shots if we went into the beer spa, so like all good english girls we accepted the free booze and ended up in this bath filled with beer and a fire under it. Hannah burnt her bum, it was so funny! To be fair I dont remember much more of the night. I was told in the morning that we all ate a skanky hotdog from the street seller....mike had 2 eurgh!!!
