Sadly we realised that on such a short trip we really had to move on from this funky city. We hadnt had the time to visit the infamous prison or the coke dens but hey we would rather come home alive! At 8am we caught our bus from La Paz to cocacabama which is a small town on Lake titicaca. It didnt take us long luckily and so after a few stops and eating some mining street food we arrived and went to find a hostel with this guy H we had met on the bus. We found the one we wanted and this lovely little old lady came and ushered us in and found us a room for virtually no money....It even had an ensuite!

It was a pretty touristy town so we spent the day booking our trip for the following day and checking out the markets. Just before sunset we headed up this 4000m mountain to catch the views across the lake as the sun was setting. Ok so we might not be the fittest people on earth but seriously at this altitude we have no hope of being able to even breathe let alone climb a bloody mountain! Saying that we finally made it and the views were amazing! I really wish you could all have been there to see it!

After heading back down to the village Mike was pretty Ill (man flu) so after finally getting to ring Aimee (he had been trying for so bloody long but this place is in the middle of nowhere) he ended up going to bed early to try and get a bit better before the following day.

I didnt stay out much longer and we were all in bed by 10pm wow isnt that exciting!
