Hi, we are Shane and Anni. You might know me as Anika, Angelya, Ang or Slacker, but most people know Shane as Shane. Wherever you come from, hello

We are from Australia, but we've been living in the UK for almost 5 years now. We like it here, but it's time for us to head home. You can see the other places we've been at http://www.ballofdirt.com/members/855.html. BoD is a great site by the way, but I'm trying this one out because of a couple of things: I like google maps, and also there is a comments page, so people can leave us messages! Oh, and it links to Facebook :)

We're about to head off on a trip of a lifetime, overland from London to Beijing and flying home to Brisbane from there. We're going with a company called EOE (who are in the middle of rebranding to UKTOOZ.com), with about 25 other people in a big orange truck.

The plan is to visit Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal and China.

Our first step, however, will be to move out of our flat in Windsor this Friday and stay above a pub in Whitton for a few weeks. At this stage the flat is covered with stuff, and we have 3 days to empty it and fit our remaining posessions into 2 backpacks. We also have no passports at the moment, as they are at either Indian or Pakistani embassies getting visa'd. Good luck to us!
