Away by 8 this morning after getting up early to cook the porridge. Breakfast feels more civilised if you have been up cooking it rather than rushing around getting a tent down. We headed right for the border with Hungary and stopped to spend all our euro coins. Changed some notes to HUF (Hungarian Florins?) and ended up with thousands! Another beautiful sunny hazy day.. we are so lucky with the weather! Feels like summer here. Once we arrived at the campsite we caught the cablecar up to the top of the hill for an awesome view over the city.

We've had a bit of trouble getting food for dinner these couple of days because of the Easter public holidays, but the truck actually carries loads of foods for just such emergencies so we havent gone hungry.

Next morning (Monday) we walked all over the city, checking out the amazing architecture.. a real mix of early 1900s buildings on one side of the Danube and the medieval castle area on the other. More warm weather and we are loving it. Things were quiet in the morning since it was a public holdiay but by lunchtime the city centre was heaving again.

Off into Romania tomorrow and we'll be heading into vampire country... more updates if we make it out the other side ;)
