We had a long drive to Kurrimine Beach and when we got there we were a bit let down. The town was teeny tiny and when we said that we were going down to 'the shops,' the lady at the caravan park corrected us by stating 'by shops you mean shop...which is closed today'. Damn! So we headed to the servo to pick up some dinner...nachos it was!! hehe

We stayed 3 nights and there wasn't much to do. The weather wasn't nice so the pool and beach were out and there wasn't much to see around the town.

We did drive into Mission Beach one day (on the search for a proper supermarket) which was lovely. It was a nice place that had a few cafes, pubs and lots of shops. It was a place for tourists to visit. So we had a beer at the seafood restaurant and headed back to our park.

Charli did enjoy her walks down the beach, even though we couldn't let her off the lead (crocs!!!) and we had a little look around at the houses there.

That's about all we did in Kurrimine Beach...however there was a crazy man that was staying in the next site who insited that I wasn't Australian. Nothing Andy or I said made him believe that I was an aussie! Then while we were talking to him, he just turned around and walked away....weird!!
