Next up after a confusing walk was the Museo de Botero. Botero is a famous Columbian artist born in the 1930s in Medellin. His work consists of brilliant portraits or sculptures of hugely fat people! Found myself giggling all the way round. He particularly likes re-creating famous works with his chubby people. Hence here is the Mona Lisa on a magnet! So an early morning (much delayed) flight from Cartagena brought me to Bogota. After the crazy, wet heat of the north it is really chilly here. Looked a bit silly in my flip flops!
