Realised am really tired after the last three months of this stint of travelling. Took the private bus (flash packing alert) from Santa Marta back to El Viajero, Cartagena. Was unable to take my eyes off one of the worst movies ever made! The bus was showing The Cross, a shockingly awful & violent comic book film with Brian Austin Green & Vinnie Jones. Vinnie of course was the thousand year old bad guy who was unable to die but yet does just that!

Arrived into Cartagena just as it started to rain cats & dogs. Popped out to supermarket for cheap eats & got wet through. I note my very unsexy cagoule did not stop the local boys from hollering & hissing at me! Apparently this usually gets the girl in Columbia. I, however, was immune to their "charms".

Rained so hard that I spent the afternoon chatting to hostel mates. Saved me from having to be offended yet again by how rude & unfriendly Columbians are. To be fair I can completely understand them being irritated by Gringos as almost all I have come across speak no Spanish. Why on earth Brits & Aussies decide to come to Columbia with not a word of the language is beyond me?! This then makes them very rude to the locals.
