Okay this is naughty street art! The words above the women literally translate as, "The chicken on the bedside table". Bizarre!!! It is actually a Chilean expression for popping out of the office at lunchtime for a trip to a love motel with your colleague/mistress!

Love motels are very popular in Chile & rent by the hour. In addition to facilitating extra marital assignations, they are also used by Chileans of all ages who just want to escape for a few hours with their other half since most live with their families.

Whilst we are on the topic, I can tell you about the cafes con piernas dotted around Santiago. The literal translation is, "Coffee with Legs" & are only to be found in Santiago. They appeared in the late 1990s to fight competition from Starbucks. Essentially coffee is served by girls in underwear! No alcohol is served. The only other service provided is el rojo minuto (the red minute) during which 60 seconds the waitress removes her bra! Only in Latin America!!!
