Today we visited the London eye. Although the line took 45 minutes under the sun, it was definitely worth the wait. Its literally like a massive Ferris wheel , and actually is the biggest wheel in the world. You had to stand inside a large dome shaped capsule that had glass around it. As the wheel rose higher, you got a great view of the river Thames, Big Ben and the whole London city that looked so cramped and close together from up high. It took about 30 minutes to go all the way around. Once we were finished there was another 4d movie that was included. It was about the wheel and once again water and lighting was used to make the movie seem realistic. A boy popped a bubble in the film and all this water sprayed on us ! I loveee 4d movies now. We then walked to Knightsbridge station near Harrods and bought some good ol lunch at the supermarket. We had a picnic at Hyde park underneath a shady tree. Hyde park reminds me of Albert park lake a little bit. It was so big and green. All the trees were as tall as buildings and had vibrant green leaves that made heaps of shade. People were walking their dogs, horse riding in the park , and even roller blading. We noticed a lake in the middle of the park and decided to take a paddle boat out for an hour. It was so relaxing we stopped paddling and just laid in the boat for twenty minutes. Many birds, ducks and geese were swimming around the lake an there was also a sectioned off area for people to swim in. We were going to get a coffee at a cafe along the water but it was getting a bit late. We had to find out how to get Gatwick airport , which is the one taking us to Barcelona in Spain. I'm sitting on the Gatwick express train now about to knod off. Keep posted for all the Spain deets! Xoxo Alice
